A hat-trick from Chris O'Grady helped Rochdale ease past Cheltenham and pull further clear at the top of League Two.
O'Grady opened the scoring with a fierce left-foot drive from 18 yards before latching on to goalkeeper Scott Brown's mistake to score his second.
Defender Craig Dawson then added a third after bundling in Tom Kennedy's free-kick at the back post.
Robins defender Michael Townsend got an injury-time consolation but O'Grady then raced through to score his third.
