Glenn Murray struck late in the second half to keep Rochdale within sight of the League Two play-off zone.

Murray pounced on Alan Goodall's 74th-minute pass to bury the winner past Andy Warrington and extend Dale's unbeaten run to three games.

Adam Rundle, Ben Muirhead and John Doolan all wasted chances to extend Rochdale's lead.

Darren Kempson saw red for Bury late on for a second bookable offence before Jason Kennedy went close to equalising.
